ABOUT THIS POSITION As Customer Relations Manager you will be the customers’ voice in your store. You will influence your team and colleagues by showing them how we can work together to make a better shopping experience for all our customers. Your driving passion is to create an enjoyable and fun shopping experience in your store and encourage our customers to return more frequently and buy more. Your direct responsibility areas are: Entrance desk, Smaland, returns & exchanges, check outs, transport desk and goods hand out. You also secure a high level of shopping tools, Family friendliness and guidance in the store.
The Customer Service Manager reports to the Store Manager, is a member of the Store Management Team and has a matrix relationship with the Country Customer Relations Manager.
YOUR ASSIGMENTS:
- You have the ambition and you are motivated to build up a new IKEA store from scratch.
- You ensure a positive and safe customer experience that meets CSI expectations and customer convenience standards in Customer Service.
- You ensure that within the store we take a friendly and understanding approach to customer complaints, handling them effectively and efficiently.
- You ensure a fast and easy payment processes in the store.
- You ensure that waiting times in all areas of the store are at a bearable level - look at the store from a customer's point of view.
- You reduce the return rate by partnering with other departments to address recurring customer issues.
- You ensure the implementation and development of the family friendly concept as described in the IKEA Concept.
- You attract, develop, and inspire the Customer Relations team by realizing the IKEA HR Idea and ensuring a competent, knowledgeable and well informed team.
- You create an environment where the IKEA culture is strong and where the diversity of our co-workers and customers is valued and embraced.
- You lead the personal and professional development of the co-workers through training, transparent succession plan and personal development plans
- You provide and build up trustful relationships to co-workers through a problem solving and an open, respectful communication.
YOUR PROFILE:

- You have excellent communication and negotiation skills and also strategic, analytical and tactical abilities.
- You have strong knowledge of the IKEA concept and the current best practices.
- You have deep knowledge of management and a proven record of leadership skills.
- You have a strong drive and problem solving approach.
- You have high energy in motivating and inspiring people.
- You speak excellent German and you have a really good english level.
- You are flexibel regarding the days and times of workinf and you are also willing to work 3 Saturdays every month.
