DevOps Engineer Application Analytics
What you achieve
As a DevOps enthusiast, you enjoy working in our multidisciplinary DevOps team. Developing and supporting the front end (Typescript, React, Angular) and the back end (data processing pipeline based on Spring Boot, Kafka, Mongo, Redis, Zipkin, and Elastic) is part of your routine. You design, source, combine, and analyze data streams from dozens of systems efficiently and in real time. Plus, you deliver insights through processing and analyzing structured and unstructured data. You deploy and run your dockerized microservices on our CloudFoundry PaaS, and you strive to improve performance and availability constantly. Working on alarming, root cause analysis, and anomaly detection, you get to apply your data analysis skills in a production environment with high impact and visibility within the company. Taking care of our software infrastructure to ensure stable operations as part of DevOps activities completes your set of responsibilities.
Why you succeed
- Degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) in IT/ICT (or similar), a degree in related field is a plus
- Experience with UI programming in Typescript using a framework like React, Angular, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of traditional SQL or NoSQL (Mongo, Elastic) databases
- Solid knowledge of Java,Python knowledge is a plus
- DevOps experience in a cloud and dockerized environment
- Familiarity with CloudFoundry, Amazon AWS, or Microsoft Azure as well as metrics (e.g. using Prometheus) is a plus
- Data analysis skills with a basic background in statistics are a plus
- Enthusiastic and flexible self-starter
- Very good English, German or French a plus
