What you achieve
Hardware, software, and applications are available thanks to you. You address disturbances professionally and efficiently. Regarding platform-relevant services, you handle change requests, security patches, and lifecycle projects. In addition, you configure and install software and hardware components, compile the necessary documentation, and distribute it. You develop or support software solutions to integrate the components in use. Plus, you are responsible for the installation, configuration, and support of our Unix/Linux servers in several complex and heterogeneous security platforms.
Why you succeed
- Degree (UAS/technical college) in computer science, telecommunications, or equivalent experience in IT
- Knowledge of IT security and network technologies and proven experience in Unix/Linux
- Familiar with script programming (Bash, Perl, or Python)
- Knowledge of security services (PKI, HSM) or at least basic knowledge about it
- Understanding of distribution, automation, and configuration management in larger environments
- Experience in maintaining and operating standard applications (e.g. Apache/Tomcat, MySQL, LDAP) as well as know-how of load balancers, proxies, and other devices for access control are a plus
- Ready to provide 3rd level support on-call
- Flexible, self-reliant, and committed
- Good English and German
