Senior System Architect
What you achieve
Focusing on electronic health records, you continuously design, implement, and verify products in the Swisscom Health portfolio. You ensure a compliant, up-to-date implementation that is scalable, maintainable, testable, and interoperable. Leveraging your deep understanding of complex IT systems, you review the current architecture and plan and implement improvements. You steer the technical evolution of software products and infrastructure continuously. In addition, you support the teams in designing their components and provide the know-how for successful implementation. You organize regular trainings and workshops for your team, and you keep yourself up-to-date on the latest trends in software design, development and delivery, systems architecture, authentication protocols, and related best practices. As a senior member of the team, you cultivate a software house culture with special attention to security. Plus, you contribute to defining strategic technological company goals.
Why you succeed
- Degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) in information technology, computer science, or related fields
- Extensive experience with microservice architectures, full-stack software development in Java, API's design, IdP integration, and web security
- Solid understanding of modern deployment stacks like Kubernetes
- Good working knowledge of IT risk management with a focus on security, technical debt, performance and reliability
- Familiar with the current technological state of the art and experience with public cloud infrastructures
- Able to interact with different teams to explain, enforce, and actively support the implementation of the system you designed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business acumen, and a commercial outlook
- Very good English and German
