Senior Software Engineer AI/ML Applications

What you achieve

Focusing on AI and machine-learning applications, you work on audio and text understanding based on machine learning and signal processing methods. Joining a team of 40 members, you play a key role in developing our conversational AI platform, one of the flagship products of the Data, Analytics and AI division at Swisscom. The platform empowers internal departments like Swisscom TV with AI-based methods to improve customer interactions. Leveraging your programming expertise and your background in developing solutions based on AI and machine learning, you are deeply involved in every aspect of cloud services and product development. Together with our data scientists, you implement and maintain machine learning models used by thousands of customers every day. You ensure high scalability of the product and best practices in testing and DevOps. Speaking of which: working in an interdisciplinary team according to agile methodologies makes us thrive – and you, too.

Why you succeed

• Master's degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) in computer science or similar technical field of study
• Expertise in at least one major programming language (preferably Python)
• Hands-on experience with machine learning and its application to software products
• Know-how of API design (REST APIs) and microservices architecture is a plus
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD best practices is a plus
• Comfortable working in agile teams with test-driven development and continuous integration
• Highly motivated personality with a strong work ethic
• Very good English, German, Swiss German or French a plus
