ICT Operations Engineer
What you achieve
Initially dedicated to a renowned international customer from the insurance industry in the Zurich area, you provide operational support for their migration to Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business. In close collaboration with this innovative customer, you develop a solution for unified communications. You provide infrastructure support across multiple global data centers and you get third exposure with partners like AudioCodes, VMware, Polycom phones, or while collaborating with vendors. Working in an agile setup in a small, powerful team, you take responsibility for the overall solution with a focus on optimization and automation via scripting. To do this, you work on site with the client, and you take on shift work or on-call responsibilities.
Why you succeed
- Technical degree (ETH/Uni/UAS/technical college) or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience with providing support for Microsoft Teams
- Hands-on experience with ITIL style service desk
- Knowledge of Skype for Business
- Experience in Audiocodes SBC / Gateways is a plus
- Microsoft certifications are a plus
- Strong social skills when dealing with customers
- Implementation-oriented and team-oriented
- Very good English, German a plus
