What you achieve
Joining a team of fifty members, you play a key role in developing our real-time customer experience monitoring system. Focusing on large-scale graph analytics applications, you construct and maintain a knowledge graph based on information ranging from structured logs and metrics to unstructured customer interactions, and including semi-structured incident tickets. To do so, you leverage stream processing technologies and machine learning methods. The system you develop empowers our customer support units to do search, impact analysis or problem area identification. Thanks to you, our product managers understand the usage of our products and can better adapt to customer needs. As part of a cross-functional agile DevOps team, you have full responsibility for your products. We believe in T-shaped skills, having expertise in one field and developing breadth on the job. Together we push the limits of anomaly detection and predictive maintenance.
Why you succeed
- Master's degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) in computer science or similar technical field of study
- Experience with graph analysis, graph embedding, and knowledge representation
- Familiarity with information retrieval systems, learning to rank
- Expertise in at least one major programming language (preferably Java)
- Know-how in data wrangling and discovery, applied to large and diverse data sets
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, hands-on knowledge of graph DBs (like Neo4J) is a plus
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD best practices is a plus
- Comfortable working in agile teams with test-driven development and continuous integration
- Highly motivated personality with a strong work ethic
