ABOUT THE JOB
We seek a highly professional and experienced Marketing Manager for our Shopping centre in Lugano. As a Centre Marketing Manager, you will contribute to improve the brand perception of the Shopping Centre, make it more attractive as to increase the customer flow in compliance with the strategic goals.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:
- Support the development of the Strategic Long Term Plan for the shopping centre under the guidance of the Marketing Manager and the Centre Manager
- Represent IKEA Centres in the required contacts with local authorities
- Secure compliance with IKEA Centres policies and rules as well as regulatory requirements
- Developing and implementing an annual Marketing Strategy and Plan in line with approved goals and objectives
- Preparing the Marketing budget and execute in accordance to approvals
- Managing external agencies to produce creative and compelling advertising, PR and promotional campaigns which will drive footfall, repeat visits and extend dwell time
- Developing and manging a Media Buying Strategy that targets the desired demographics and a Digital Marketing Strategy
- Developing local and implement regional promotions and incentive schemes to deliver strong results by driving footfall, repeat visits and extend dwell time
- Liaise with IKEA Retail Store and Tenants where necessary to encourage participation in events and promotions
- Ensure timely and appropriate responses to customer communication received through all social and digital channels
- Meeting business goals in terms of quality, time, costs and overall results of the department and that needed resources are in place.
- Secure that all work is carried out according to Group Documents and other company concepts and standards.
- Recruit, develop professional and management skills, inspire, create working environment that stimulates creativity and curiosity and retain team members according to the Human Resources Idea.
YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
- 3 years of experience in commercial marketing.
- University degree in Marketing.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent Italian and Advanced English skills.
- Expert knowledge of:
- IKEA brand, culture and values
- Shopping Centre and Retail Business
- Marketing Operations such as Events (Types of the events, calendar, goals, follow up on results, sales promotions)
- Positioning (perception by consumers)
- Finance General issues (process from ordering to payment)
- Digital Marketing knowledge is a plus.
